I was gonna say for AD plenty. E6 Evans signed the 15th of November. A new RSCA could make or break someone's package.

NRC would consider a significant change GPA or ASTB, it is short list. Those that are enlisted could also add new eval, or addition of a relevant qualification.

Sometimes NRC lets things slide by, other times they will not.

While a new eval would allow you to reapply right away evals don't really mean that much, it is more one of those things that can hurt you more than they help you.
 
A RSCA is a figure set as the standard of an eval by the reporting senior. So if the Sailor is graded a 4.2 and their reporting senior's RSCA is 3.7, they scored .5 above the average. This matters mostly for E6 that is attempting to make board for Chief, as its a major contributor towards a value that sets the cutoff for those that can be eligible for board based on the exam and those that don't make the cut that year, no matter how good their overall body of work is. AD is very exam orientated, rate dependent, for advancement.

As for packages, not sure it really matters at that point. Everything I've heard is your AD work (evals, collaterals, etc.) is expected to be exceptional and if it is anything but then it just goes against you.
 
I added another appraisal to my package going into the next board, but I also added designators. If I don't get picked up from the Feb board I'll finish my masters before the June board and try to get another flag letter or appraisal. I'm hoping that somewhere along those 3 I'll get picked up

Wow. Now, that is something of an answer! Never knew you could do all that on the AD side. Good luck @scooter345. Thanks for the comprehensive explanation.

What does matter most? What is the order of importance...OAR, GPA, Degree, Age, etc...
