The only part about the nami physicals that worry me are the depth perception tests. Have never had any problems with eyesight before (20/25 uncorrected), but have also never gotten DP tested until meps, which went fine. Have been stressing over that DP test since I started this whole process last September 😂
 
I had some med things that dealt with that are close to a decade old now but was never diagnosed with any of it. I think I should be ok as well. During my MEPS evaluation interview I just kept repeating to the doctor that I had been cleared by DoDMRB for them before. I know I should be ok since when I reread what the documents said when I took them for the month I did, I did not react well at all, plus I rarely took them anyways
 
I can hold 2 pens at arms length and touch the tips together first try. Can I just show NAMI gods this instead of taking the Randot??

Also curious about this, I’ve been working with my army flight doc (they all use the same system and he was kind enough to look at navy regulations and such) to make sure my stuff is good but who knows.

Yes, that or DOR. One of the guys in my class that got DQ'd from aviation went Intel and has been doing just fine. Another guy went NFO since he was still qualified for that.

It's important to note that you're technically not safe until you wing, and even then, you still have to fight to keep them. Anything can happen in the time it takes to get them and I've unfortunately seen a few people get attrited for things outside their control.

Moral of the story: take things one step at a time and control the things you can control

How do they handle that if it’s before 15? Briefly took ADD meds when I was 13 but stopped because it didn’t do anything for me. In hindsight it was 100% a misdiagnosis. Recruiter and MEPS doc said it went an issue but imagine NAMI handles it differently

Yes. Your current waivers are for commissioning and were issued by a differing authority. You need to be cleared for aviation duty by NAMI. A waiver’s a good start but they’ll still review everything.
