I’m not sure the AF could handle the idea of two rotors. Just one seems to concern them. Of course there was the HH-43 Huskie, but those rotors were next to each other.
 
So we've spent the day in the office with an F-16 guy who says this is the future of personnel recovery... And apparently navair is already leading with this technology
