I've always been a semi-auto and in particular 1911 guy but losing once-fired brass in the long grass when plinking down on the farm was getting old. I was in my local shop picking up some primers and he was putting this in the case fresh in. A S&W 586 with the 4" barrel. Used but looks damn near unfired. No holster wear and muzzle is clean and no worn bluing at all around the cylinder pawls came with the box and all the S&W paperwork. $400 and ten days later thanks to Maryland's waiting period :icon_rage it's mine. Wife said consider it my personal retired from the Reserves gift as that paperwork showed up a couple months ago and I'd nothing to reward myself.
If anyone knows how to date S&W I'd be interested in a born on date. SN# is BRM 141XX.
Now, a look around the Bianchi catalog and an order for some .357 dies and I'll be in business. Not a great shot but here it is.
