To you lucky graduates out there. I am trying to determine the effective date of commission IOT determine how to proceed with my federal civilian job. The nuts and bolts are this - while in training (effectively, active duty for training in the USNR), I may keep my position under USERRA, but once on an active duty status, I must terminate. I would like to determine what day that will tentatively be so that I can schedule my leave appropriately.

So, what was your effective date of commission? Was it graduation day? Something else? Thanks in advance for your insight.
