01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

While you studs wait around, I'll take this moment to drop some E-2 hype 😎

Still a student myself but based on everything I've gathered about the Hawkeye, it is most definitely the hidden gem of naval aviation. You won't hear much talk about it in the forum but it's a super rad bird with a ton of benefits. If anyone has any questions about the pipeline or just flight school in general hmu!

Maybe we all got jobs guys and they don’t know what to do with us?🫠
*speculation*
honestly i want to lean towards the "a TON of people got selected" outcome because if it was only 80 I feel like they'd have all the OCS dates chopped by now...

May 2025 board had 148 SNA PROREC-Ys, and all selectees got their OCS dates chopped in the official results. Board convened May 5th, results were released May 15th. 10 days. We are on day 40.

Maybe they had way less applicants and packages to go through compared to this board and that could be the reason it's taking so long (plus holidays, other NRC events due to ongoing world conflict, the aviation program manager is a 1 of 1 position and may not currently have civilian help, etc)...?

again, speculation and copium and fear of rejection.

here's to another weekend of waiting for monday folks. what a strange feeling! 🍻

I kinda just hope we get some sort of explanation for what’s been going on.

Officially:
Retired general gave me E.H Taylor, battalion commander gave me 2 yeunglings, battalion warrant went out and got me a half a fifth of makers 46.
Standardization nco dude gave me like 5 coors lights

I’m curious as well, I was a street applicant, non isel. But I got my pro rec Y, going to sign on official acceptance next week. If they updated it in the system, what exactly is the hold up? I would say it’s the logistics of scheduling everyone to go to OCS, spread evenly throughout the FY.
