it was lol prob had to have been two of the dumbest apps ever with multiple waivers- again they want this officer shit to seem crazy comp to get into- in reality its tougher to stay in than get in

That is who makes it to board, there are people who apply with some waiver issues that don't get put through, the number would be small but they do get turned away

He also has applied for at least Supply in the past which can be the most difficult to get into, many times there have been boards where anyone with with waivers the board declined without even reviewing the application.
Board selection percentage percentages can swing wildly, I have seen them go from 75% to 25% from one board to another.

You don't know what will happen next board, the number of people who apply can vary wildly. The worst I saw was a high selection rate to no board for a year because the board members way over selected after a goal change.
As applicants you should just apply and then be prepared for anything, you never know what will happen.
For swo tho? they are sev undermanned rn and look for capable bodies

Did you not read my last post, this is literally how what I described started and yes it was SWO, that was the worst one.
Based off everything I have read if there is a board and you have no glaring issues you have a 90+% chance-MAYBE you have to reapply once

Seems like you've read everything except for the posts you're actually replying to lol. Yes, SWO has had very high acceptance lately, but that can't last forever. One unfortunate board has to be the first one to have lower acceptance. Could be this one, could be in a year. Good luck 👍

You aren't getting it, there is what should happen and what will happen, those things are not always the same.
SWO is a lot of what should have happened but then you have what has actually happened, it is very much a "be prepared for anything" designator. You have to have to be able to evaluate and be prepared for anything.
