My recruiter said this is only a BDCP board and that NRC is not currently accepting SNA packages... However it sounds like some non BDCP applicants made it on here. Maybe the packages that were already submitted and rolled from previous boards are getting looked at. Best of luck to anyone who can get on this board! I’ll be waiting for the May one because of MEPS nonsense.
This doesn’t apply to me as I am a BDCP applicant but if it was BDCP only would it not be listed as such? There’s a couple boards on there for different designators that are listed as ‘BDCP ONLY’

Theoretically. but There's no telling at this point with all the conflicting information. Best of luck to anyone who makes it on regardless!!

Good luck to you as well! Here’s to hoping that this board allows all applicants. I know your pain with getting all the medical stuff sorted after lasik, just push through the BS and you’ll get it figured out.

Hey this might be a dumb question, but can BDCP candidates qualify for I-SEL? Or is it either one or the other.
No. One or the other. BDCP is a program for current collegiate applicants…that is not yet graduated. For I-SEL, you must be available to ship to OCS rather quick.

Speaking of meps nonsense. They require 2 manifest refractions 30 days apart from each other post Op PRK or Lasik to show that your vision is stable. Make sure they do a manifest refraction at your post Op. For whatever reason my eye doc did not do one after the surgery and though it was not needed because i was 20/10.
FYI Meps will do one for you. So as long as your eye doc does one Meps will do the second.
I now have to wait another 30 days before the next one (fortunately not at MEPS) to then submit for N3M letter.
The board schedule has put notes when the board is restricted, the update has no restrictions listed currently.

Quick question. I've seen some people mentioning something about a pro-board. What's the difference between that and a regular board?
proboard stands for professional recommendation board if I am not mistaken. Reason being is that the board 'recommends' that you be offered a contract, it is not official until you are sent a final selection letter.

edit: proboard is just the official name for a regular board
