I was afraid of that. My officer recruiter told me she wanted to send me up anyway and “make them tell me no” as opposed to me taking myself out of the running.Unfortunately the age requirement is non-waiverable. You must be less than 37 at the time of commissioning unless you are prior service, then the age limit is 42.

I’m hoping so! I’d be happy with either designator. AMDO would be near and dear to me because my husband spent the bulk of his military career in aircraft maintenance. I have a big appreciation for what those people do, and I’d love to get the chance to apply my abilities to helping with the behind the scenes admin side.You’ll be a great candidate for AMDO.
