Age: 36
No prior service
OAR 59
GPA 3.5 BS Business Administration
Will graduate 12/2025
No waivers other than that I have ongoing Invisalign treatment that is expected to complete right after I graduate, which was approved.

Supply’s PA says you must be eligible for commission before 37th birthday. It doesn’t say they do take age waivers, but it also doesn’t say they don’t. I’ll turn 37 before I graduate, so I submitted a request for age waiver to the board.

I’m also submitted to the March AMDO board.
If you manage to squirm by the age thing, which is unlikely, you have a competitive package.

Unfortunately the age requirement is non-waiverable. You must be less than 37 at the time of commissioning unless you are prior service, then the age limit is 42.

Explained here:
I was afraid of that. My officer recruiter told me she wanted to send me up anyway and “make them tell me no” as opposed to me taking myself out of the running.

If I don’t get picked up for Supply, maybe I’ll have better luck with AMDO.

You’ll be a great candidate for AMDO. They been looking to pick up only candidates with little to no service.

I’m hoping so! I’d be happy with either designator. AMDO would be near and dear to me because my husband spent the bulk of his military career in aircraft maintenance. I have a big appreciation for what those people do, and I’d love to get the chance to apply my abilities to helping with the behind the scenes admin side.

That’s awesome I hope everyone gets picked up. Clearly we are all passionate enough to get on some forums and find out additional information. Good luck to you!

I’ve been lurking on this site since October, I’ve found a lot of good information. I agree, hopefully we all get some good news this spring.
