I do not meet ISEL requirements. OAR is 47, unfortunately. I did not use the proper study materials when preparing for it. I do meet ISEL in every other area, though. Perhaps I should consider taking the OAR again.
Probably because they met their quota if they were already qualified for isel and still got a noIf they don’t meet ISEL requirements

I’m coming in with no prior service, and I’m a little confused about waivers—do they get handled before or after the interviews? If you can shed some light about this, I’d really appreciate it. My recruiter was great but swamped, so I’m still piecing things together.were you prior enlisted with any TIS? Did you have any waivers? How were your appraisals ?
Waivers are usually handled during the application process. You’ll submit for approval at around the same time. At least fleet side that’s how it works I’m assuming recruiter side might be slightly different.I’m coming in with no prior service, and I’m a little confused about waivers—do they get handled before or after the interviews? On the bright side, my appraisals came back strong, so I’m feeling hopeful—though I know the field is packed with talented people with strong profiles.
