OCS 03Nov2023 SNA/SNFO Board

He initially told me "that ship has sailed" but a week later told me he needed my withdrawal in writing, and I've confirmed that I'm not at board. Not positive if that's due to my withdrawal or something just not being right with my application - but my name is not on the list.
He had convinced me to go for NFO (which would still be a really cool job) because I found out the week of the deadline my vision paperwork wasn't approved. But I wasn't okay with that based on several factors. So going to push forward for pilot and apply next round.

Honestly, I've obtained a lot more information from this forum than from my recruiter.
Hell yeah man take charge of your life!! Can’t wait to see you get that pro rec y for NA. And I totally agree man I’ve learned soooo much from this forum. Way better than any recruiter lol

Loooool nice to know I wasted my time waiting for the results (knowing I’d likely have to decline a pro rec y) when I could’ve just started my lasik process sooner ? whateva it all worked out. Just so annoying how deceitful recruiters are. And he was such a good recruiter before all of that happened so I trusted him.
It is possible you had passed the point of no return for being pulled, but to say you could never apply again is not right.

Their is a total of 172 applicants this board. Which is only up from 154 applicants last board, and a far cry from the 245 applicants on last May’s board.
There could be a few reasons for this, there could be those who wanted to apply but were not moving fast due to past history and weren't able to get everything submitted, some NRD's could be limiting applications, some recruiters could have looked at the dashboard and done the math and then held off submitting applicants.

Looked at the dashboard and done the math as in they saw the number of available pilot / NFO slots or do you mean looked at previous board submission numbers and saw how many people applied before and assumed it would be a high candidate pool?

Who is budy363 and what did they study???? Also how do you read the spreadsheet correctly. I’m more looking for who made it so I can see what the general scores are for accepted applications. Thanks.
The spreadsheet has previous boards linked to it so you can see how some of the past boards went.

Bright green is pro-rec y, bright red is pro-rec n, light green is "at-board", light red is not "at-board"

There's also this thread with links to other spreadsheets: https://www.airwarriors.com/community/threads/sna-snfo-historical-board-data-2020-present.48993/

As in they looked at the dashboard and held back candidates.

So to echo MotorCookie, the red you seeing is not indicative of non-select, just that their packet is not being seen by the board.

Well, my package was submitted but NRC did not pick it up. Recruiter is trying to find out what happened. This has been an endless waiting game for me. Anyways, good luck to all of you.

Is it possible if it was a mistake on the NRC side for you to be able to get like some type of special waiver or something to allow you to be seen on this board?

I have never heard of anything like that happening, but that would be awesome lol.
