Does anyone with the name list know how many people total made it to board? I was trying to see if it was similar to the amount of people as the last board or less.

Their is a total of 172 applicants this board. Which is only up from 154 applicants last board, and a far cry from the 245 applicants on last May’s board.

I’m a little worried I spoke with Paul Celestine a few weeks ago and he assured me that my package made it to the board, but my name is not on the list. I can’t call until Monday!

Hmmm that’s actually not what I was expecting after reading through the forum, people were saying that they expected everyone to be applying for this board due to last board results but only having 10 more applications then last board is way less then I thought it might be. Hopefully this is good news for us, fingers crossed.

I figured it would be around the same since most got picked up last board that applied. There wasn’t a lot of time between the results posting on the last board and the submission deadline for this one, 3 months-ish. If you’re a new applicant that’s not a lot of time to get an entire package together, especially with MEPS.

Good luck to everyone! I withdrew from this board as NFO to pursue pilot, will reapply the next deadline and keep pushing. Thanks to everyone for their insight and advice - I feel much more at ease having followed my gut instinct for this decision.
Also, went to a different eye doc a few days ago and got 10/10 circles (depth perception test) correct with ease. He said I’m 20/20 and don’t even need glasses. Not sure what was up with the last doc. He wrote a note addressing the requirements I found in MANMED/aeromedical guide, so hopefully they will be pleased with the documentation this time.

Long story short, be your own advocate!

Kinda same situation here, I resubmitted back in August, but my name wasn’t on the list. Waiting patiently till Monday to figure out…

I’ve heard of people in the past not having their name on the list but we’re still on the board, I hope that’s the case for me. I worked supper hard getting everything together and I submitted before the due date. Mr. Paul Celestine told me 2 weeks ago that my medical was cleared and my package was forwarded for the board. I hope they just made a mistake and forgot my name. I’m freaking out, and if when I call and he tells me I’m on the board, I think I’ll still be stressed with my name not being on the list.

Wow! You were able to withdraw?

When I was in your shoes my recruiter showed me some document that basically said if I pulled my packet I’d be unable to ever apply to naval aviation programs. So I saw it thru and waited for results to then turn down the NFO prorec y.

He initially told me "that ship has sailed" but a week later told me he needed my withdrawal in writing, and I've confirmed that I'm not at board. Not positive if that's due to my withdrawal or something just not being right with my application - but my name is not on the list.
He had convinced me to go for NFO (which would still be a really cool job) because I found out the week of the deadline my vision paperwork wasn't approved. But I wasn't okay with that based on several factors. So going to push forward for pilot and apply next round.

Honestly, I've obtained a lot more information from this forum than from my recruiter.

That isn't accurate.

Loooool nice to know I wasted my time waiting for the results (knowing I’d likely have to decline a pro rec y) when I could’ve just started my lasik process sooner ? whateva it all worked out. Just so annoying how deceitful recruiters are. And he was such a good recruiter before all of that happened so I trusted him.
