Any updates on the missing AD folks?Good luck to everyone tomorrow, I hope we find out the results in a timely manner after the board is over.
@exNavyOffRec Just curious, but would you happen to know how long they meet for? I know results take anywhere between 2 to 6 weeks typically but I was wondering if you had any insight on how long they actually sat down and discuss applications.
That was super insightful! Thank you! Seems like a very lengthy and thorough process lol.I was able to find this video about the officer promotion board process. I'm thinking it will be similar in fashion to this. I hope this helps to provide some insight into what It could be like. Sorry for not knowing anything concretely!
Bruh hahaha - duh! We’re the over analytical folks interested in the inner workings lmao - seems about right! You guys are way more anxious over here then the oct31 sna/nfo guys/gals sheeesh
Each designator is different in how long they take Intel takes a little longer per application that other designators, but they also review a lot less say about 40 compared to SNA who will see hundreds. GPA and degree are important for Intel as the average of those selected has over years been about 3.5 which is pretty high. Intel will take time to review LOR's, read statements, etc while other designators will review an application a minute. In some cases the designator can make wholesale cuts such as anyone less than 3.0 is denied, or anyone with legal type waiver is denied, it just depends. In some cases each board member must give a thumbs up, in other cases they will accept a person if one board member says no.@exNavyOffRec Just curious, but would you happen to know how long they meet for? In general for a board such as IWC or Supply they will take a few days, if they don't have other things going on, it may not be 8 hours a day they spend review applications due to other obligations.
Not similar at all.
that seems to be the same as most AD people. I haven't heard anything either other than he has it and he will review itI submitted my package on Oct 6 and got confirmation that he received it, though I also had to re-send parts of it due to issues with Flankspeed. I communicated with Mr. Celestin a few more times after that as we tried to troubleshoot it, and I finally was able to get everything to him. I haven't heard from him since then, however, though earlier he assured me that he would review it. That was almost three weeks ago and it's been silence from him. As of this morning (7 November), I haven't heard anything.
