Yeah, I think either one works. I used mostly Jantz and did well on the exam. Others mostly used the prep app and did well too.I never used the Jantzen sim, just the prep app. I would assume the Jantzen sim prepares you just as well though for the tracking portion though.
Does anyone have Kyles drive? I have the Gomez one. I want to collect them all!
Hey could someone please provide me with gomez's study guide?
The exam is a mix of both. Word problems often probability based(card decks) and general arithmetic reasoning. Square roots and some geometry are expected also. Rather than what practice test is best go ahead and sort through them all and see what you don't know.Would you guy say that the actual math portion is more word problem based or “simplify/solve the expression” type? Also, on Gomez’s drive, which of the practice test best simulates the real ASTB
Yup, use AI to your advantage; I used Grok to understand a multitude of concepts. The exam is a mix of both. Word problems often probability based(card decks) and general arithmetic reasoning. A strategy I've used recently is to plug the question in into chatgpt. IF the questions include shape diagrams such as triangles this method doesn't work at least for me. Have chatgpt you through the problem. Then have chatgpt generate more similar problems to the original question. This gives you the reps necessary to become familiar with the concept if asked in a similar way on the test. Additioanlly you can ask Chatgpt what this concept is called then either research the concept on youtube to gain greater familiarity with the concept, and use Khan Academy if desired.
Is Grok a type of AI?Yup, use AI to your advantage; I used Grok to understand a multitude of concepts.
Yeah, it's the one on Twitter. Is Grok a type of AI?
I used Grok and ChatGPT but I always preferred the former.ah, never use it so was uninformed.
Also another note on memory.Would you guy say that the actual math portion is more word problem based or “simplify/solve the expression” type? Also, on Gomez’s drive, which of the practice test best simulates the real ASTB?
