I can assure you that I’ll have a smirk on my face when they call active duty military onto the plane first. That’s not a bad idea btw.

I have found about 50% of the time they call active duty in uniform and the other half they call for all AD and veterans. It isn't specific to any one airline, just who is making the announcements.
