Interesting. What did you say when they asked about the 8 Oct date? Would hope they wouldn't rescind a FINSEL because you ask for a slightly later OCS date..

From what I understand, they were asking me to choose a date before issuing a FINSEL. I asked for 19NOV and they said yes. So my only FINSEL (which I haven't received yet) will be for 19NOV.

Guys, just got my selection letter today. Looks like OCS will be on the 15th of January for me. A little late because I finish deployment at the end of the year. Wanted to know if anyone can help me with this question. Can I get any Witnessing Officer I want to sign my Service Agreement? Or do they have to be a certain designator/rank etc. ?

I'm under the impression that it doesn't matter. I had my chief staff officer sign it. I think it's just more of a witness then anything.

CNRC finally provided my recruiter with my OCS date. Will be reporting for Oct. 29th! I'll be looking to see if there are any Facebook groups.
