Can confirm, the book was so much easier for depth perception than whatever god awful machines they had at MEPS.

You never know, you might make the board yet. I have to go to MEPS next week as well, so my recruiter requested an extension on my package submission and it was approved without a problem. If you're worried you may be too late, it can't hurt to ask for an extension. The worst they can say is no!

Question for those that have applied in the past, or have similar experience.
Currently:
Active Duty E6
3.7 GPA
60 7/7/7
SNA/NFO
I am currently active duty applying for SNA/NFO. I submitted my medical documents for review a few weeks ago, and NRC requested more information pending a waiver for an ACL injury. I have had all of my medical evaluations completed and i'm waiting for my orthopedics surgeon to input the updated evaluations to my medical record (Which should be updated on Monday). Last week I submitted my OCS application and received confirmation from NRC that my application was received and is processing for board consideration.
One of the three civilians that deals with fleet OCS applicants at NRC just told me to send him my medical documents for review as soon as I can (Obviously its going to be after 6 July & I told him the soonest would be Tuesday). He also said that applicants can be approved for the board pending medical documents.
Basically, i'm pulling out my hair thinking I missed the deadline and i'm just seeking experiences from other fleet applicants. Any input would be great. Thanks

I was stressed until I sent my package in today (active duty deadline was today). So, I know how you're feeling. The deadline your recruiter is talking about depends on your situation. The deadline for NRD was two weeks ago. Deadline for active duty sending the application is today. However, the board is August 15th. Therefore, if your recruiter requested an extension, and got it approved, you could send it before the board date of August 15th. I would reach put to your recruiter and ask if you are concerned.

Well my CO recommendation came back in time and we emailed my package in today. Kind of worried about the medical thing though. I have seen people saying you need to be medically qualified through "N3M" before submitting the application. Definitely didn't do that, but hopefully I hear some kind of confirmation soon. Hello friends! I just added myself to the spreadsheet. My recruiter thought I was on the May board, but my legal waiver didn't clear Big Navy in time. Legal waiver is now good to go, and I'm on the August board for SNA and NFO.
I read pretty much the entire May 23 board (thinking I was on it) so hopefully I can help answer some questions.

Just a little trick that might help anyone having issue with the depth perception test.
It was my first time taking it too as it wasn’t a requirement back in 2008 when I joined the Marines and I looking at the first row for a while cause I couldn’t quite pick it out.
Anyways, if you’re having problems finding it, direct and focus your vision above the row and it should help make it More visible.
As a former Marine Scout Sniper we used that trick whenever we couldn’t make out an object without any visual aids (night vision, thermal and such).
I got every row correct.
