I'm wondering if there's any rhyme or reason some got an email and others didn't. Was everyone who got it prior service perhaps? I'm on the IWC board, non-prior, and didn't get one.

But what if it involves a lot of admin work on the civilian contractor side though? We don’t know how the dissemination process of board results work

The NRC processors are civilians, I know a few times there have been military working as processors too, just don't know if that is a one off or not.

I find myself in a position where I don’t think there is much I can change. Other than updating my package that I was able to graduate with my master’s degree.

I would track down someone who could give you an extra letter of recommendation or learn a new language

LOR's don't matter/aren't looked at for aviation and foreign language isn't anything that will help either. The ASTB and GPA are what will get a person selected.
