Tight yeah I've been butting heads with the hospital corpsman she keeps stating that I am a disqualified candidate when the flight doc still pushing me to get it done. I'm new to this forum but I am assuming Paul from NRC should have some contact info in first couple pages?
Message me I got you

Hey all, quick question for everyone. I am currently out at sea and have been unable to hear back from my recruiter via email and while in port, he did not answer my calls or texts. It looks like he was transferred to a different recruiting station and I was wondering if they pass off applicants to others when they transfer or if they hold on to them? I have read a bunch of times that recruiters can be a pain and was wondering if anyone knows more? Thanks!

If you are AD why are you working with a recruiter, you are supposed to apply via your command unless you are a reservist.

They normally do pass them off to a new recruiter, but if you are AD and the new person is going by the rules they may have stopped.

like @exNavyOffRec said, you should be talking to your NC1/NCC or at least your admin/admin chief if your AD.

I know that this may be old news to some of you, but to some it may not be. I have been using the checklist from the instruction this whole time, but confirmed by Paul, it is the Fleet OCS checklist on NRC's website that we need to be using. Last updated sometime 2018. That checklist has the correct tattoo waiver, NAVCRUIT 1130/104 AND yes, you need a copy of both birth cert and social security cards, and both need to be certified by your admin. This post is really geared more towards my fellow AD peeps, as we really generally get no help or direction with this application. If you already knew this information, then that's great, if not, then please look through your application documents and bounce them off of the CORRECT checklist. Had I not got to talking to him and asked a couple questions, I would have never known I was using the wrong checklist, which would have had me turning in the incorrect tattoo waiver and not including my social!!

EDIT** You also do not need to reapply every time you have a correction. I had already submitted my application to him and got confirmation that I am on the November 1st board, so I was nervous thinking I had to gather everything back up, add the new documents and resubmit the WHOLE thing, he said absolutely not. Just send him the documents via email and he can add them in for you, and you won't lose your spot on the board if you got confirmation that you are on it. So if you are like me and needed to update your tattoo waiver and add social, don't sweat it. Just get it to him before the due date!

This does not apply to civilians for those that might read this and think it could, AD do not have a recruiter or NRD processor so in effect Paul is acting as the NRD processor as well as the NRC processor.

It is also good to remember that all forms that have signatures are only good for a specific amount of time.

Sorry, I am not AD in the Navy, I am sailing as a Merchant Mariner on a merchant vessel...should've known that it would have been interpreted differently on this thread. Nonetheless my recruiter got back to me about what is left in my package so hopefully I will be submitting soon.

For all my AD folks submitting, I am probably nuking all of this but SMART transcripts moved over to JST so we are attaching those transcripts correct? Also with extra curricular activities what did you all end up putting in those blocks? Volunteer and extra off duty activities? Thanks in advance!
