Policy is 6 month wait from a N until able to resubmit for the same designator unless you have a significant change which is defined as GPA or ASTB

If you want to be a SNA you should just apply for that.

Edit: In some cases it doesn't pay to retake the ASTB, what were your current scores.

I got a N in the may board but my recruiter said if I added volunteer hours or get a certificate in something it’s enough to reapply for this board?

Historically they want to see a "significant change" that is defined as ASTB increase or GPA change, you may get lucky though and they let you go through.

How are you "adding volunteer hours"? Everything I have been submitting has been through my OR, and I do not recall a document that allowed me to add volunteer hours. Are you just listing these on the APSR, or is it a different document that I have not seen?

List them off in the boxes that say "Applicant Remarks".

For example:
Delta Tau Chi fraternity, President - 2012-2016
Volunteer at an animal shelter - 2014-Present

Hi all,

Took the ASTB in June and scored 51 5/4/5. Retook last week. Very frustrating with the test glitches but it is what it is.

OAR: 56
ASTB: 7/6/8
Degree: B.S. Finance
GPA: 3.77

Applying SNA only for this board. Have some decent LoRs but honestly I'm just happy to finally be seen by a board. Best of luck to all of you.
