EOD. It’s a great gig, but they’ll extend you as long as you’ll let them haha. 2 years of training then sea duty, I figured taking shore would be good for the family, so obviously I applied to OCS as soon as I got here. ? my poor wife is a saint.

My new theory is that with all the delays to OCS start dates the NRC knows they won’t be able to ship us within 6 months so their thinking is why rush it? First class is in October? Pro recs in April and technically shipped in 6 months.

So diabolically genius on their part you have to respect it
