I understand all applicants will go to OCS if selected but it’s the timeline that’s ludicrous. Did Mr. Celestin state anything on how long it would take Nov applicants to get out to OCS?

I asked him if he was saying FY22 total is 170 or November board is 170. His response was if we want exact numbers we can contact the aviation community managers. I don’t want to be that crazy person, but at the same time I’m in the same boat as a lot of you in the fact that I had a LOT riding on this board so I need to start planning ahead and working on updating my package for the next board. Unfortunately we can’t retake ASTB until results are released, and I also most likely don’t get back from deployment until sometime in April or May, so it’s going to be near impossible for me to make all of the necessary updates in time if I do not get selected this go around? so I’m gonna go crawl back into my hole

He was a bit short with his response. He didn’t fully answer my question, as I asked about dates getting pushed back lol. He basically said ask the community managers. Anyone else wanna take a stab at contacting some of these people so I don’t look crazy??

Here's the list from the august board on who was selected. Shows 129 people were selected for SNA in august alone

Surprising that they let so many people make this at board list if they essentially don’t have any FY22 slots left.

If I’m remembering correctly, originally before all this blasphemy started a few days ago, we were talking about how there was roughly 250 spots left between pilot and NFO going into this board. So maybe that’s the 250 he was talking about. And maybe he’s saying that instead there will be roughly 170 selected from this board, which would be somewhere around 56-57% approval from this board. Which still sucks. Haha. But is better than 7…
