Just found out my app didn’t make it in front of the early board. Bummed I have to wait another month, but at least it wasn’t a no. Fingers crossed for the May board!

Was that your first test? How did you study and do you think you can improve your scores text time around? If you miss this one, the next board is mainly for filling out FY18 reqs then saving people for FY19. You may have time to test again.

What are you applying for? And was that GPA in a STEM major?

The next board will clean up for FY 18 with most for FY 19, there will only be a few OCS classes left before the FY changes over, realistically there are only 2 OCS classes people could go into before the end of the FY 18 classes.

The waiting game is over! Got the call this afternoon. My recruiter said he had preliminary info that I would be preselected for a couple days but he just got the final confirmation so decisions are still being made.

And would anyone know if the deadline for the May 20 board got moved? Because my package was sent in a couple weeks ago and just got a call saying that my one tattoo that was said to be “no issue” is now an issue so I’m just gonna get it covered up and have the Doc sign off on it....then resubmit my kit.

This is the part I hate. You would figure after 10 years in the military I would be much better at the hurry up and wait game . May 23rd cant get here fast enough!

It will be even crazier if that happens and we end up flying the same aircraft in the same squadron. You will probably commissioning way before me though. I don't even finish my degree until December. Then I need to send in my transcripts in to get my FINSEL OCS dates. Gonna be a long final 2 semesters.
