I saw a different thread that we are going to be issued New Balances upon arrival.
Not too thrilled as I've been running in Brooks for years and haven't found a better feeling running shoe.

Edit: I believe they were talking about this on the July 1st class board. They were actually emailing friends at Ocs to ge the deets on them.

Yea someone in the 1 July thread confirmed from a friend that they are now issuing New Balances. It’s unclear if you’re required to PT in them or not

On a side note, anybody got any tips for foot pain from running? I’ve been experimenting with different shoes/insoles and the pain has ebbed and flowed. Hoping to find the right combination at some point. Hoping to go to OCS pain free but prepared to gut it out if necessary.

Massage it after every run with a lacrosse ball. Good for your other muscles as well.
