Hey guys, I’m active duty E-6 and am a Career Counselor.. kind of like a recruiter but for Active Duty. I can see where the results are posted as I had a few guys get picked up the last two cycles and notified them. I have two things to say.
1. The results are not out yet, they are not posted so nothing has officially came out.
2. The last board was on the 8th and the results came out on the 16th
I might have just geeked out ridiculously hard...
Could either be sick or completely ruin my childhood favorite movie
Is a Career counselor similar to an NC1? And so there's a chance results will be out today, huh? Haha
Yeah except it’s not my primary duty, the Navy is huge on collateral duties so even if we all make pilot or NFO we’ll all have some extra responsibilities! I thought they would be released today honestly..
Since this came up I want to ask just to be safe: when you address an NC1 you either say N C 1 (insert name) or petty officer (insert name) or petty officer first class (insert name), am I corrrect? My recruiter is also an NC1 and ide feel like a real dick if I’ve been addressing him wrong the last 6 months.Ahh gotcha. I was just wondering bc my recruiter is an NC1 haha. And yeah, its seems that way. No big deal with extra duties though!

You just refer to them as their rate and rank. “NC1”Since this came up I want to ask just to be safe: when you address an NC1 you either say N C 1 (insert name) or petty officer (insert name) or petty officer first class (insert name), am I corrrect? I hated being called petty officer. Only time people really deal with it in my experience is in recruiting or when you deal with a bunch of people that aren’t Navy. Most of us prefer Rate and rank (NC1, AO2, IC3, etc.) And then last name if it is required to differentiateSince this came up I want to ask just to be safe: when you address an NC1 you either say N C 1 (insert name) or petty officer (insert name) or petty officer first class (insert name), am I corrrect?
