I was worried that having the age waiver would hurt my chances, but after talking to my recruiter he said the prior service age waivers aren’t a huge deal. The CO approved it and the package was submitted. Easy peasy
Yeah I got a waiver but it didn't seem like a process. Maybe cause I'm prior service it's fairly standard I'm not sure.
From what I've read/heard non-priors never or almost never get age waivers so it makes sense why they're speeding up your process.
It is possible but not likely. I was offered a slot on the April 29th OCS date because of spots opening. Gosh, a week wasn't enough time. I guess some people dropped or something? Usually, you'll get a decent amount of notice. But it can occasionally happen if spots open up or something happens.

Looking at the Feb board, they looked like they had pretty good numbers and most of those on AW indicated they got selected. This board's ASTBs weren't bad, but we are waiting a lot longer relative to what the Feb board reported on their google doc, though they did have a few standouts that were getting results a couple of weeks after the board date.
