One aspect I completely forgot about; the ISPP! How will those selections work or fit into the normal board schedule? Will there be a fixed amount of ISPP candidates that can be selected each board? Hopefully there is feedback on this once the list comes out, as they usually have a debrief memo attached.
The debrief is "canned" and not really worth anything. The ISPP come from the quotas as those applying via other process, the exception per the PA is that if an ISPP at least meets the PA minimums they will be selected and take priority over any other applicants. The exception is if there are no more quotas to give and they can't get additional spots.

This also means you can't use the ISPP applicants when looking at what will get a person selected as a ISPP 5/5/5 technically could be picked over a person from an NRD with a 9/9/9 or at least that is how I read the PA.

Since I'm bored at work and at work bored I scrounged AW for some info on how long results took for Pilot/NFO boards:

25 January 2021:____37 Days - 112 Pilot/NFO Pro-Rec-Y
01 November 2021: 32 Days - 155 Pilot/NFO Pro-Rec-Y
02 August 2021:____11 Days - 187 Pilot/NFO Pro-Rec-Y
24 May 2021:_______28 Days - 143 Pilot/NFO Pro-Rec-Y
25 May 2020:_______21 Days - idk
27 January 2020:___30 Days - idk
11 July 2017:_________7 Days - idk

Take aways: It doesn't look like the number of Pilots/NFOs Pro-Rec'd-Y is a direct link to time it takes to publish board results
Average # Days: ~24 Days
We have been waiting 18 Days.
Sad that they go from these high numbers to only 70 sna/nfos allegedly.

Change of topic, how are you leaving your job/whats the first thing you do when you find out you got selected?
I’d probably continue to work till about two months out. I’d spend sometimes overseas visiting family. Things are a lot more simple there. Do some studying , have an even more increased training regiment. Life is precious, I’d be nothing without the sacrifices my family made. It would be good to see them before I venture off into the world of military aviation.

Do like the Russian people do: buy a couple fifths and celebrate with my roommates.
Probs leave my job at most a month before since it seems like OCS dates can still get pushed back without notice.

I worked for my university, and when I graduated in May my contract ended so technically I already left my job, though I’m interviewing for some other contract jobs to fill the gap. As for if I get selected, I’ll probs treat myself to renting the “nice” Archer and plan a long XC flight somewhere xD

Does anyone have the pdf for the board results from either August or November? Or does anyone know what the board results sheet looks like? Thank you!
