AVIATION PROFESSIONAL REVIEW BOARD MAY 2022
N – Not professionally recommended/Not best qualified by the community requested. Y – Professionally recommended. **There is no further action is required on the member’s part. This is not a select at this point.** There are two Yes votes required to be final selected. One vote comes from the community boards (which the Y represents). Next, Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) will now send your medical documents through the medical review process here at NRC for commissioning standards. Once Physically Qualified (PQ) letter is issued we will forward your recommendation to the director of OCS Accessions here at NRC for final review and final vote. If final vote, this is the second vote, is given for selection than your command will be notified via email form the OCS desk here at NRC with Select letter, OCS class date and Service Agreement for the designator that you were final selected for. ALL – Not Professionally Recommended/Not best qualified for one of the following: (Pilot-13900 or NFO-13700)
Based on what this paragraph states, after PROREC-Y from the board, you must then be given final approval on your package from the director of OCS accessions; this is probably why we are still waiting on the list to be released by NRC. Just a guess.
Finally we have something!Message from BOL regarding board results, copy and pasted as is (to include the nonsense numbers and symbols)

I’m confused: I got the same message, like word for word, but I thought you were selected? Does the status need to read “Y?”Message from BOL regarding board results, copy and pasted as is (to include the nonsense numbers and symbols)

I was under the impression that give you a pro rec first and then what’s listed above is the process of FINSEL. Because I’m pretty sure all of us got out PQ at Meps from n3mHas this always been the process ?
I'm bookmarking this just in case. That sounds awesome!Liberty University has an online MS in aeronautics that is accelerated. I started in March and I will be done in December. The semesters are 8 weeks long and they’re definitely do able if you stay on top of them! I’ll be able to finish before OCS If I am selected!
If you need more explanation, you can PM me
the process stated on BOL is old and was changed many years ago, once you are notified of a Pro Y you are in unless you screw something up.Message from BOL regarding board results, copy and pasted as is (to include the nonsense numbers and symbols)
