It's hard to explain, basically I had a scar on my cornea I never knew existed and my cornea is flat.

I chose not to re-des, not to encourage anyone to do that because you're here to be a Naval Officer first, but my heart was in aviation more.

Appreciate the information on re-des. I was also applying for SWO, but the recruiter pulled my kit for that board because NFO was my first choice. Which made me wonder, should I have kept it in just incase something happens and I can't do NFO? But, hopefully it all works out!
