I got the J and J and so did my wife, she had no side effects and about 8 hours later I felt like I was coming down with something and it felt like I had drank about 6 shots in an hour (so positive side effect? lol) for about 24 hours then nothing, other family I have that rec'd that shot were the same either nothing or just felt like a cold coming on.

I know a lot more family, friends, co-workers that recd either Moderna or Pfizer and most had side effects after 6-48 hours, they had side effects that knocked them on their ass bad for 24-48 hours, one has no recollection of any meetings he was in, another rec'd the shot at 8 am when the place opened and then around 2 pm laid down for a nap and woke up at 10 pm, then fell back asleep until 9 am the next day. There were several that ran high fevers for about 24 hours, I had one coworker that said they were glad they were working from home because when they were hit with the side effects she would have not been safe to drive.

Overall to me the side effects are minimal for any of the shots, I have a good friend I served with who's brother works with one of the pharma companies checking to see how long it will last, currently I keep hearing 12 months, but he is being "strongly encouraged" by his brother to be ready for a booster more like 9 months given the research he is seeing.

I think they try to get you to OCS sooner if you are pushing near that limit of 32. I just turned 30 in March and there was no rush for me.
