I'm in the same boat. Got my degree to become a CFP, went to 2 different financial planning internships over my summers and hated the environment. Really motivated me to join the navy instead. I originally just wanted to join any way I could and almost submitted a package for supply. I've always wanted to be a pilot but I never thought it was something that was actually possible. But then I realized I have the eyesight and test scores to do it and that it is within reach. If for some reason I can't fly I will be glad I tried.

At least you learned early on. I lucked out with my previous firm and the culture was phenomenal, but the job itself I didn’t enjoy. Once I noticed how much I hated studying for the CFP I realized It wasn’t my passion. The Navy will be so much more worth It!
