Hey guys,

I am hopping on this thread to get some insights and information hopefully. Although I submitted my application for the May board, I was wondering what the general timeline looks like from when the board convenes to getting unofficially selected to getting prorec Y. I know it’s a lot of waiting but if I could get a rough estimate on how long till after board convenes to get unofficial and official results it would be great.

I wouldn't worry about a timeline for "unofficial" results because the indication of selection requires a willing and able active duty person to check OCS rosters and then verify that with people on the forum. If someone is willing to check, OCS dates will populate a couple weeks after the board convenes. The exact date of the board is not set in stone so you can see the problem with looking and hoping for unofficial results by a certain time. The last three boards have taken about 6 weeks for official results (ProRec Y) to be released so I'd expect results around the week of July 4th for the May aviation board.

I think that’s more of a recruiter thing. My OR has been great at going any extra mile for me even if that meant reaching out to command for anything.

Not that I think OCS will be a breeze or anything but honestly the majority of my anxiety has been focused on flight school and getting the grades and platform i want.

I have been to AFROTC Max and I am guessing that OCS will be very similar. I had so much fun to be honest.

I am guessing OCS will be much of the same.

So I’ve heard on here I can switch my ocs date, as of now I have may 30th but my recruiter never gets back to me. Does anyone know more about the process of trading OCS dates between applicants? And what should I do with my recruiter? He reads my messages on Iphone and continues to not respond.

Call your recruiter and make a list of things you need to ask.

Dont PO your recruiter. If you think its a detriment to your training maybe contact your recruiters HQ... I do not know though.
