That article is referring to promotion selection. The SNA/NFO board is still scheduled to convene on the 25th of May. Good luck to everyone on this board!

Looks like that refers to promotion boards for current sailors. That has come up before that their boards are postponed. For us I believe it's business as usual, May25 convene

No. Those boards are specifically for promotion and selection for rank and positions(billets for CO/XO/CMC).
All boards are a go for recruitment purposes ( OCS, etc.) the majority being done virtually.

Short answer: Yes, the board will still be a go for the 25th.

I've heard rumor that they'll actually convene this Friday or the Tuesday after because of the holiday - but I don't have any confirmation of that.

The last I was told they stated that the board would start Monday and go through the week. That’s a good question though, I’ll try to find out

The actual board is often started and finished in one (1) day, they blow through applications focusing on ASTB then GPA. The rest of the time waiting for results is all admin work.
