On a separate note:
I understand the safer route is to stay until FinSel, but what do you all think about quitting our Day Jobs after receiving a ProRec?
Assume finances are a non-factor.

I think you already awnsered your question. Nothing is 100% guaranteed. Personally I am going to stop working about 3 weeks before OCS so I can get ready physically and mentally. If you are working the time will go by faster.

Agreed, I have 4 weeks of vacation banked up so once I know the date I’m taking a month off before too.

Anyone else ever just out of nowhere start overthinking their scores and package? I need closure ?

I worry about it too much, and I’ve been trying to make a concerted effort not to compare myself on here. But it’s hard.

Is there ever a reason you’d get PR Y and not get finsel, even if you did nothing wrong?

Yes, if you did something illegal and in your mind you thought you did nothing wrong. ??. I'm sure you should be good

Quit whenever you feel comfortable honestly, but don’t tell them you’ll be quitting and why until you actually out in your two weeks. By law a business cannot fire you or lay you off due to going into the military, but if you want to keep your job until you actually want to leave it then don’t mention the Navy until you’re actually ready to stop working.

Same! I know worrying doesn’t do anything but I’ve been trying for years and this is the furthest I’ve ever gotten so the nerves are real

The by law thing is clutch cause I told my job back in August to get a 2 stars LOR before he retired so they know. But I have a feeling they don’t like me still there lol

I stay out of trouble and keep to myself, so I think I’m good too lol. I just thought when they said safer route they were insinuating the PR Y can be rescinded at any time for any reason, and therefore better to stay at work. But clearly I read too far into it

Looks like an SWO Board date begins tomorrow... Am I wrong to assume that if their results get released first then a bunch of SWO's are going to fill up the closer class dates too before we get ours?? Especially since, if I recall correctly, SWO usually has a larger applicant pool?
