Looks like an SWO Board date begins tomorrow... Am I wrong to assume that if their results get released first then a bunch of SWO's are going to fill up the closer class dates too before we get ours?? Especially since, if I recall correctly, SWO usually has a larger applicant pool?

Maybe all our dates are already selected and we just haven't been told yet....:)

I follow the SWO board and they said 309 applicants this time around....

I was selected on the November SWO board and I just got my official orders for a 26 July 2020 class up. My command requested a 09 February class up. SWO quotas are being selected for FY 21 at this point not FY20. This is the word I got from the fleet processors. With the information I’ve been given I would say this SWO board would be classing up in the later classes of FY21.

Side note... Your OR can put you in for a class date but it seems the CNRC Processors have the final say/ can make changes as the see fit based on the needs of the navy. Don’t put all your chips on a single date as it could be subject to change. Until you have a FINSEL letter and orders.

thanks for the insight!

ORs don’t “put” someone in for a class date. What you list as your availability on the application is what CNRC goes off of for classing up
