I think some data scrubbing like name, DOB, etc would have been good, and then keeping the scores and their color codings/results would have been nice.

No... you're completely missing the point here. There is a reason applicant data isn't publicly released. Additionally, each applicant signs a
privacy act statement acknowledging their info to be shared and maintained between Navy recruiting and the applicant. Nowhere does that say "used for Airwarriors". Selections lists are posted on the Navy sharepoint website... not on a public website.
I'm sure the majority of applicants wouldn't care... but I'm certain there are others who
do not want their information be shared with outside channels.
Going back to the lesson here... if someone has an idea, ASK/BRING IT UP. Process improvement is never discouraged, however it should always be brought up and bought off on before actually executing. Sailors, including officers have gotten in deep shit for "good ideas" that were never communicated with the right folks.
