So that means?
Do I call my recruiter, ask him to look a little deeper and send my resubmission back in for a Pro-rec?
Thanks everyone again for your help...

You have to trust your recruiter on this. I am fairly sure he has consulted with his OPO or other recruiters. He sees what is getting pro rec from the board. If he thinks you are in better shape (an improved app) then he will send it in. If he recommends not sending it in for recon yet, then it must be that he isn't confident that your change in status is enough to yield a pro rec. Seriously, his job is to put you in the navy. The more guys he puts in the Navy the better his fitness report. If he thinks you have a reasonable chance then he will request a recon for you. If he hesitates it is for good reason. What motivation would he have not to get you selected? Trust him.

Gotta Get Into Navy OCS!
Thanks for all the great information in this thread, folks. Replies may have gotten a little testy at times, but I'm struggling to deal with just finding out that I did not get a Professional Recommendation. That's why these lists are great. I wasn't even sure what exactly this meant and where I should go from here while I wait for more information from my recruiter (who has been great). I now understand.

Now we just have to figure out why Navy Intel didn't want a 67 OAR with two recommendations from U.S. Congressmen - maybe because I'm 35 (apparently they just raised the age limit, though) and a father. Who knows. I just want to get in! The encouragement helps.

Age is a very big deal. The older a guy is the less likely he will make it through OCS. Maybe not you, but that is a fact. They do give more lee way to prior service guys wrt age because they can assume the vet really knows what he is getting into and is less likely to DOR. Good luck.
