I feel the same way. Our command is big and very busy, so I don't expect the triad to stop what they are doing to update me. BOL could take awhile to update. But I need to ship by 01JUN because I'm on an age waiver that states I must have my commission nlt than 15SEP

More confused than anything right now.. Many recruiters/processors told me I’d be just fine based on my package. Only thing I can really improve on at this point is taking the ASTB again. I’m also not sure if my recruiter thought I was a pre-select N? Or if it’s for sure just a N.
He said he didn’t have the board results other than I was a N?... Any insight would be great because it just seems like recruiters don’t even know how the hell this is working.

I got picked up for SNA, and I had a 5-6-6. Not really that much variation there, and your GPA is higher than mine! Not to mention your licenses.. I can't seem to understand why you wouldn't get selected if I did. Do you have any waivers or a record?

That's kind of the worst part, they didn't give me a reason for the rejection. Other than, just that, I got rejected. No waivers, no prior recreation/medical drug usage (anti-depressants, etc..), and no criminal record (other than a couple speeding tickets). My recruiter said it could've just been a numbers game... and they met their quota. He said he won't really know the underlying factor until the official results have been posted.

I hate to be a dick, but your OAR being subpar did you in. Your package stops at GPA and ASTB. All the other stuff you listed is useless for the aviation board. You just have to get your OAR up, plain and simple. If you're looking for an explanation, that's it. Of course your recruiter told you that you're a shoe in. His job is to try to pump as many people into the navy as possible, and he isn't going to tell you that your scores aren't good enough. Just study, get the scores up, and go for round two at the next board.

Nah, it's what i needed to hear. I actually had a date and everything to retake but he, as well as the other recruiters in the office, strongly advised me not to. I hesitantly backed out.. Lesson learned, always go with your gut feeling.

Sounds like your recruiter crapped the bed giving you that advice. I got a 63 5/6/5 my first time and my OR told me to take it again. Being below the average accepted scores should be a giant red flag as to where you stand. Best of luck going forward man!
