Are you referring to the SWO-EDO board? That one says applications are due April 22nd , board convene May 6th

SWO still says 8APR/22APR
Thanks for the screenshots

No, over the phone he explicitly said due may 8th. I haven't seen the actual list myself so I'm only going off of his word. I applied to the swo board that was originally scheduled to convene 08Apr, didn't even know there were other variations. It's all very confusing now.

That’s weird because they released the at-board list last week so I’m not sure why it would get delayed again after already getting delayed.

It seems that they didn't have enough applicants..?

Thanks for the screenshots

The at board list would only be released if a board was going to or had already started, it is of course possible there was a last minute change but that would be rare. The other thing is given how the last word was that they still needed SWOs to ship they would have to keep the board on schedule to make that happen.

The person who would know if something changed would be the director of OCS programs not a processor.

It's possible they got the dates mixed up then when i called. I'll ask him again on Monday

Anyone have an update? From what I’ve heard, the board met as scheduled and we’re just waiting for results.

My recruiter hasn't replied back on my request to verify the dates again. From the collective data I believe he must have been mistaken (he seems overworked)

Assuming it convened on the 22nd, we're expecting results around May 16th? Judging off other boards

The last SWO board got there results back in about 10 days of the board convening. So we’re hoping to get results by this Friday

Guys, when my recruiter suggested SWO as second option (first being Intel, which i wasnt picked up for) he said I could do a lateral move to Intel after 2 years given I get all required qualifications. Then I talked to a current active duty applicant who is looking to commission into the IWC community, and he told me that such move is possible if I specify so on my package and apply for the actual swo-intel spots, not general swo. Is anyone familiar with this?

Yes you can lateral convert, but you’d need your SWO pin at minimum and the community manager has to let you go.
The quals would 100% help but it’s still not guaranteed.

This is what I was told.
