I didn't do a whole lot of riding in Whidbey due to an old inop bike, but I'm looking forward to some good mountain riding this summer.

My home town is just east of Whidbey across the sound, I definitely will miss blasting up the north cascades or 2 east to leavenworth for lunch, plenty of good times to be had on those roads. I'm on a '06 ZX10R, so I'm in favor of some really good twisties out here, I just can't seem to find any. 98 east towards mobile sounds pretty good, I'll have to check that out.

Taking the back way to get to the I-65 freeway from Milton is a nice ride. It's (or was, till the bridge was fixed) the alternate I-10 route for hazardous cargo trucks. It'll take you through Pace and some other towns, good little ride.

Oh, and I'm on a '00 V92SC (92 cu in, 1508 cc)

Did a 5 day road trip from San Dog to Clearlake Ca last winter. Lots of stops along the way. Started out on Highway 1 then did Highway 20 through the mountains... **Great Driving** No bike though...

California is the beautifullest state in the world...
