There have been people that have done that before, sometimes they get the wrong info and that can happen because they ask how many AMDO billets are available, what they get is the total number for the FY, and that number would include billets that would get taken by redesignations at OCS or other times in the pipeline.

It does sound like you asked the right questions give thne answer you rec'd, as him mentioning alternates is only something they would do for OCS, those numbers also sound reasonable.

Howdy y'all, hopeful AF guy here. I was close to joining the Navy 9 yrs ago but the AF recruiter was a bit more convincing. Good luck to everyone! Does any one know how long this selection board process takes for this AMDO board? Are we talking days or weeks until notification will be made?

It takes about two weeks for results on BOL.

It should no way talk that long, AD SNA/NFO/SWO/etc... applicants are getting results with in just a few days of the board ending.
