Any SNA/NFO Final selects or Prorecs for '06???

Pro rec'd NFO, my kit is at the SNA board tomorrow, 24th. Should hear next week about those results. PFA and meps next week, hoping the final select happens quickly.

Good luck with the SNA board, my package is there as well. Do you know when the NFO board was? I was under the impression that they were meeting today as well, but I was obviosly mistaken. Regardless here is hoping the good news comes quick.

I was pro rec'd for nfo on the 3rd of march, and was told I narrowly missed sna. So I'm hoping I'll get it this time. I found out on a the tuesday after the friday the board met. AFIK the nfo and sna boards meet the same day, but not 100% sure.

Just got the call. Got Pro rec'd for BDCP SNA.

Can't believe it, I have waited a long time for this to happen. Thanks for the info that people have given me on this site. For people working on getting it keep it up and don't stop.

A belated (in some cases) congrats on the various good news. I have some of my own: I just got the call this morning, and I'm now a final select. My OCS date is May 6; and I thought the six weeks Chamberlain41 got was short notice. I'd say I'm excited in both the happy and the nervous sense. I had been hoping for a date sometime this summer, I wonder why most of the people getting their selects in Jan/Feb were getting June dates whereas now a bunch of us in Mar/Apr are getting Apr/May dates. But maybe it's better that way, I could probably leave today and make it through, and this way I probably have enough time to get most of the gouge down, after which I can jump right in without a second thought. God willing, it'll all work itself out. For now I'm a mix of being stoked, surprised, and a little nervous.

My recruiter says they're in a rush to select NFO's, so he's moving my stuff through as quick as we can. Works good for me, and I'll hopefully be sweating in Pen in the early summer.

Congrats Wingnut! I also got the great call at 8:30 this morning from my recruiter letting me know I was Final Select SNA. My class date is JUNE 10, man you're going quick! I can't believe how fast the final select came, I've seen guys wait upwards of 3 months...kinda feel bad for them since I only had to wait 2 weeks. Anyways congrats to all the people who seem to be getting a lot of good news this week!

Update, I was just selected for SNA on May 10 and given an OCS date of May 20. Nice! I'm totally ecstatic, but I'm hoping my recruiter will be able to get my the June 10 date, I have a lot of loose ends to tie up here in San Diego before I head off to OCS!! Anyone in the May 20 or June 10 start date feel free to send me a message so we can prep together! Finally, In the NAVY!!

I got selected for NFO. I found out two weeks ago and am due in P-cola on the 19th. Class starts on the 20th. Talking about short notice!
