SNFO's ciriculum is quite different than that of SNA's. They don't complete the same training. They do get some stick time, 6 flights I think. They mostly ride in back doing Nav stuff.

Are the Air Force pilots still doing all the water events or have they scaled that back?
(when I was going through in 2000, the mile swim was optional, but I heard that they are not making AF dudes swim at all)

What is API like, nowadays, for for Air Force?

The AF guys just need to "attempt" the mile-swim. The two air force guys in my class both finished though.
