At OCS rule number one is don’t be that guy...if after the first week or so you haven’t figured out who that guy is, you have broken rule number one.

I feel like this has been covered but:
No. You are expected to be an officer and an aviator. Your prior experience can be a huge asset, or it can actually be a hindrance. Mostly your prior experience will help when you have Marines to lead. Until then, you’re mostly an FNG like everyone else.
