The Huey can go 121 knots at sea level (KIAS)

That's like saying a Phrog can go 145kts at sea level. The only time I've hit 145kts was with no guns, no ALE, etc... You might get the occasional Phrog that will hit 140kts regularly, but expect us to go 120-130 kts pulling just shy of max torque... Normally cruise at 100-110, and if we're being escorted by a mixed section - don't worry we'll slow down to 80 kts so you can "sprint ahead" ;) Not many platforms Phrog guys can make fun of...

How much does cruising around with the heavy's effect your combat radius? Not being a Helo pilot and knowing anything about the actual operations outside of they make me uncomfortable in the pattern up here, just wondering.

I think you mean combat stores, the drag does affect us in both speed and range, lots of drag on a hellfire missile launcher and 4 missiles.

But that is the only time I have seen a Snake go that fast. 150-160 is a safe bet for us but 120 is normal cruise or 90 when we are flying mixed sections with the fat kid.

Ditto here. I think I've seen 165 on the one truck we had, but otherwise it's between 150-160 while pulling Vh on a FCF profile. 120 and 80 for us, otherwise.

It doesnt really seem like Aerodynamics were a big concern looking at the shape of most of the weapons I see R/W carrying. Then again they arent trying to get you guys up past 400 knots either.

Drag is a big issue in anything youa re trying to fly. The HML has a lot of space and it is all flat space, not so good aerodynamically. Rocket pods also have flat faces, they make cone fairngs but those we never carry those, look kinda dangerous to me.

I got a sh***er up to 170 KIAS with 15 paxs and about 5000lbs of gear in the back, so there. That bird just had some horses for engines. Our normal cruising speed is around 130-150 KIAS.
