Thanks for the kudos on the pic. As for crew duties, we break them up a little differently in the USMC. It honestly doesn't matter which seat you sit in (other than the right seat controls the blade fold, and the left seat controls the Form/Blade Tip Lights). We generally split the duties 50/50, the Pilot Not at the Controls deals with the radios, navigates, keeps track of pax, etc... Pilot at the Controls flies. The guy that makes the decisions is the HAC, and if you're in a flight leadership role, you may do all of the above and never touch the controls...Left seater controls the radios, the nav, makes the decisions, says "go here, go there" (at least in the Army).
