Im a little behind on the count but does that make 2 MOH for this campaign? I remember a SEAL received one, and this Marine, but were there any others that I missed?

OIF/OEF Medal of Honor recipients:

CPL Jason Dunham, USMC, Iraq
PFC Ross McGinnis, USA, Iraq
MA2(SEAL) Michael Monsoor, USN, Iraq
LT Michael Murphy, USN, Afghanistan
SFC Paul Smith, USA, Iraq

Who the f is joe basilone???

I just wish the media today would publish these stories more. The only time someone in the military makes the news today is if that someone's a woman/minority, captured, or involved in a scandal. Back in the day, everyone knew who Audie Murphy or Joe Basilone was, but nobody knows today's Jason Dunham or Raphael Peralta.

I'm sorry gents, but I cannot let this go uncorrected. WHO THE F IS JOE BASILONE? I know about JOHN Basilone whom was awarded the Medal of Honor for actions at Guadalcanal and killed in Iwo Jima. This Joe guy must have been his brother or cousin...John Basilone is a man's man and every Marine's hero. We even use his name in double-time cadence. Don't take this the wrong way, but everyone that let this go uncorrected best pray to Manilla John while reading this:

"He held off 3,000 Japanese troops at Guadalcanal, after his 15-member unit was reduced to three men.[1] Basilone was killed in action on the first day of the Battle of Iwo Jima, after which he was posthumously honored with the Navy Cross. He is the only enlisted Marine in World War II to have received the Medal of Honor, the Navy Cross, and a Purple Heart. Basilone is buried in Arlington National Cemetery."

Not to take away from the DM, but to make this story more understandable, he recorded 20 kills with 20 shots over a period of 8 hours. This was not Jackson in the Tower in Saving Private Ryan sustained rate of fire. That being said, this story is so damned motivating that after reading it in the Marine Corps Times, I had to go to the gym and lift for two hours to overcome the inferiority I felt in comparison. All is good now.

Not sure what this video has to do with overcoming a 10:1 ratio. Not to mention I thought someone buried this video in the middl eof a field somewhere.
Yut.

It's sitting next to the punctuation and capitalization you seem to have lost.

Oh, Jesus. Sorry for mistyping. A simple "did you mean John?" would have sufficed. Lighten the F up. I guess I'm a member of the intellectually lazy generation I was decrying.
