It's not my winning strategy, its theirs. New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, and Norway have all done it differently, but all of them are orders of magnitude better than us. Pick one. Pick the best attributes of each and combine them.

The big problem is people accepting losing 450,000 people (so far) as the best we can do. It isn't even close. And letting the virus keep circulating hasn't helped our economy either. We should demand more from leadership.

Food for thought.

island nation. Island nation. Island nation w/ possible Covid resistance. Communist dictatorship w/ possible Covid resistance. And Norway. 150,000 sq mi and 5.5 million. Seems reasonable to compare a tiny homogeneous Scandinavian country to our 3.8 million sq miles and 350 million people.

So your strategy is to either dig oceans on our northern and southern borders or embrace authoritarianism. Or be Norse. Got it!

You're in Houston area, right? Japan lost 70 people in a day. Harris County lost 54.

Just the city of Houston lost almost as many people as an entire country.

Texas definitely does not have a winning strategy.
Man you’re good at googling stuff when you want, huh.

How’d your conversation with the White House go? Is President Biden winning yet? Is he listening to his CDC Director? Schools opened up yet?

Feel free to answer any of these questions.

(Spoiler alert: I know you won’t. It’s okay. You should get some of your coronabros to come help you out here.)

Quite different than President Biden’s policy of open borders and closed schools.

@Flash , here is a clip of the President’s flack quibbling, to use one of your favorite terms, about whether or not he’s going to use his power to get children back into schools. This clip is a perfect example of how the President said that he supports science, but he’s not going to actually listen to the CDC or the doctors and scientists who’ve made it clear that kids should be back in schools. It’s massively hypocritical for someone to run on one platform, and then rule with another. Since I’m not sure whether or not it’s going to air on the NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt (I know older folks like you love that program), I’ll go ahead and post this Twitter clip. But if you see anything on one of your “acceptable” news sources like Vox or Huff Po, or if you get it via a chain electronic mail from one of your virtual pen pals, feel free to go and replace it with that link.

Come on man... We can‘t open schools until we get student loan debt relief.... Follow the science... The science of money!

Slick, with all due respect: fuck off with this garbage.
Oh cute! The liberal Coronabro who loved blaming everything on President Trump doesn’t hold President Biden to the same standard. Not surprising at all.

Also, and just curious, do you think that the sexual assault claim against President Biden was investigated thoroughly enough?

So you legitimately think that all of us liberals expected Biden to just solve to pandemic, the one he inherited from Trump, in his first week in office?

We've seen more pandemic-related action from the Biden administration in his first 3 weeks in office then we did in the whole year that Trump was president since the arrival of Covid in the US.

I've been clear that Biden wasn't my guy, but what you wrote above is unrealistic expectation trash, and you know it.
