Cruise sock? Can someone explain the lingo? Just like many other things in aviation-there's gotta be an inside joke dealing with the nickname.

Chewing Gum, Bubble Gum. We bought a VCR/DVD combo & the Carpet...Key things
Laundry soap (CVN's have self laundry for civvies). Backpack/overnight bag for liberty ports (I bought a Camelbak backpack for liberty - Water & Storage). Xtra batteries, Xtra contact solution, Digital Camera with cables/memory cards/batteries/chargers, etc. Man...the list goes on.
Blank CD-R'/DVD-R's for who knows what....
