Why would you need another security clearance investigation if you already have a current one?

I was wondering that myself my recruiter had me still do SF86 but it’s noted in it my most recent one done in 2021.

I already hold a Secret security clearance with Navy wonder if I am put at back burner with security clearance movement

Bringing an adjudicated clearance w you prior to commission is a plus. It stays with you as the DCSA manage it all. Even at the TS/SCI level (all one big trusted family 😎)
